Overall, with just this program I lost a total of 15 pounds and 15 inches, and that my friends, is AMAZING! When I calculate in the results from the previous 2 programs I did right before this one (Master’s Chisel and A Little Obsessed) I’ve lost a total of 20 lbs. ![]() Well, what can I say other than holy shit! I did it! I finally finished 80 Day Obsession! For the first time ever!! I feel amazing and I am so proud of this accomplishment. Made it feel less like my soul wanted to leave my body, lol. We did a 2×15 ala week 1 of phase 3, so there was that at the very least. But hey, other than those 2 moves, I really put my all into this one and I worked hard to get stronger. So I do them on my knees, or I do them against a door like when I was in physical therapy after I fractured my shoulder (like 10 years ago) and that makes it hurt less and I have a better range of motion. ![]() I think part of that is because my shoulder still has less mobility than when I was younger and to be honest, they just hurt. Can we see the running theme here? I hate push-ups. As always, I really hate the 1/2 Turkish Get-Up to Push Ups (with more push-ups right after that? Hell nah!) and the triceps push-ups to knee tucks. So many utterly ridiculous move combinations, even if they are supposed to be for a specific goal, it’s just… ridiculous. For the record, Lemmy seems to be recovering from his biopsy last week, and we’re still waiting for results, but I can see a bit of his personality returning which makes me super happy! Anywho! I finished today and I feel AMAZING!!Īll I can say about this other than I am really fucking glad I won’t have to see this one again anytime in the near future. I’m just so glad I made it this far, because this was the last workout I managed to complete back in 2018 before our dog Duffy died. I absolutely pushed myself today, since I won’t be revisiting the exhibits in this Hell Zoo again any time in the near future, lol. I am pretty sure my soul left my body at least twice during this workout… BUT I didn’t modify some of the moves toward the end. No this was, we’re going to go balls to the walls from the get-go and do TEN ROUNDS of Hell Zoo. There was no add one move after another like previously (Inchworms, back to the top, Inchworms, Spider Push Ups, back to the top, Inchworm, Spider-Push Up, Diamon Squat jump back to the top and so on for 10 moves total). The weekly menu is a word doc so you can download and make changes to suit your needs. The program emphasizes that this is a temporary strategy. According to the 80 Day Obsession plan materials, reducing carbs and increasing protein taps glycogen from your muscles, causing you to look more ripped. Deplete days are lower in carbs and higher in protein and veggies. Two deplete days, a normal day, followed by 2 deplete days. Then I started the program over with phase 2 so I could finish right before our trip next week to Hawaii.ĭuring Peak Week you add 4 Deplete Days to your meal plan. We did another at the end of my first round of 80 Day Obsession. We did one during phase 2 before our trip to Grand Cayman. This will be our third time doing 80 Day Obsession Peak week. It’s all normal food so if you’re not following 80 Day Obsession you will still find some healthy meal ideas. The nutrition plan for Peak Week involves 4 “Deplete Days” that are lower in carbs and higher in protein. We are literally just days away from our Hawaiian vacation! I am so excited!
