It's a similar type of a feature that helps those who stare at screens for way too long :) Will go a long way to help Gnome users with their eye health and digital well-being. I feel it would fit in the "Display" section of Gnome Settings alongside "Night Light". Every 20 minutes, take 20 seconds to look at something 20 feet (6 meters) away. Neither of them can be used on Gnome by default as they both feature tray icons in order to change settings etc so extensions are necessary as a minimum. There are similar tools already but none are well integrated with Gnome. So follow this rule: Every 20 minutes, look at an object placed 20 feet away for 20. Relevant links, screenshots, screencasts etc: Focusing on the same place for a long time can cause eye fatigue. This feature should be "smart" to recognize if I'm watching a video full screen or if I haven't touched the mouse/trackpad/keyboard for a while so it shouldn't give a reminder in those cases. 20 Min TIMER - Calm And Relaxing Music.this wonderful timer music is really relaxing you can study along with the music it helps with reading.20 minute timer. Perhaps a notification reminder every 20 minutes of continuous use to take a break for 20 seconds and look at something that's not a screen? and after every 20 minutes focus on an area or object 20 feet away for 20 seconds hence the name 20/20/20 rule.
